A$AP Rocky recently touched on how he juggles career and fatherhood, emphasizing that he gains happiness from performing his duties as a “father and a partner and a loving husband.”
The 37-year-old rapper and actor spoke about his family when he was asked about the moments when he “experiences the greatest satisfaction and happiness” during an interview with Perfect Magazine.
Rocky shares two sons and a daughter with billionaire singer and businesswoman Rihanna, 37. “I think peace really makes me happy,” the Praise the Lord (Da Shine) rapper said.

“Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy. I hope this doesn’t sound cliché, and I would hate if it does, because that’s what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan. It doesn’t matter what hat I wear that day, it’s just about being able to give it my all and do these things.”

This isn’t the first time Rocky has spoken about how he cherishes his children and partner. During a previous interview with Complex, he gave a lovely shout-out to his newborn daughter, Rocki, when he was asked about his favorite thing that he created this year.
“My daughter,” Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelston Mayers, said with a laugh. “That’s my favorite thing I created this year. Shout out to Rocki Irish.”
As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, Rocky and Rihanna announced that they welcomed Rocki on September 13. Rihanna took to Instagram on September 24 to share a photo of herself holding their baby girl.
In May, there were reports that the couple were expecting after previously welcoming sons RZA and Riot in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
In 2023, the Diamonds singer revealed she was expecting her second child, Riot, during her Super Bowl LVII Halftime show performance. But this time around, she kept her pregnancy hidden until she debuted her baby bump at the 2025 Met Gala. She also never revealed details about the gender of the child, however, Rocky hinted that it might be a girl at the global premiere of Smurfs in June, where Rihanna stars as the voice of Smurfette.
The couple has been together since 2020 after years of friendship.
