Vanessa Bryant once again addressed pregnancy rumors, this time with a popular cocktail she had at the US Open over the weekend.
As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, Vanessa, who is the widow of five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant, initially took to social media in June to shut down rumors that she was pregnant with her fifth child.
The 43-year-old once again dismissed those rumors on Saturday when she attended the US Open finals with her daughters, Natalia, 22, Bianka, 8, and Capri, 6.
Vanessa took to Instagram to share a photo of her seemingly enjoying a Honey Duece, the well-known US Open cocktail that is made with Grey Goose vodka, lemonade, raspberry liqueur, and frozen honeydew melon balls, Sports Illustrated reported.
She also shut down the pregnancy rumors in her caption. “Enjoying my honey-deuce ????. Keep me posted on how this imaginary pregnancy rumor is coming along. 24 years later….same rumor ????????????,” she wrote.
Vanessa and Kobe share four daughters; Natalia, Gianna, Bianka, and Capri. The pair tied the knot in 2001 and remained married until Kobe and their daughter Gianna’s tragic deaths in 2020.

On January 26, 2020, Kobe, 41, was on board the Sikorsky S-76B with Gianna,13, alongside seven others, when the helicopter suddenly banked and plunged into the hills in southern California, Face2Face Africa reported at the time. There were no survivors, and Vanessa has been very open about the family’s grief with regard to the tragic helicopter crash.
“My husband worked his ass off for 20 years. Gave it his all. All he wanted was to spend time with our girls and me to make up for lost time. He wanted to be there for every single milestone and special moment in our girls lives. He only got to enjoy 3 years and 9 months of retirement,” she wrote in an April 2020 tribute on Instagram.
“We had 2 more daughters, he won an Oscar, he opened Granity studios, he became a 5x bestselling author and coached Gianna’s basketball team in that time. She worked hard and gave her all 7 days a week just like her daddy. I wish I could go back to that morning, every day. I wish they had a normal local game on 1/26. Life truly isn’t fair. This is just senseless.”
On what would have been Bryant’s 47th birthday on August 23, Vanessa took to Instagram to pay tribute to her husband and their daughter Gigi.
“We love and miss you and Gigi so much. Sending our love to you. Happy birthday, baby. @kobebryant ❤️” she wrote alongside a photo of them in Italy.
