Drake’s video for the new single, “Nice For What” just dropped and it features a plethora of black women doing it big in their respective fields.
Directed by 22-year-old Karena Evans, the video features Issa Rae, Tiffany Haddish, Traci Ellis Ross and Yara Shahidi to name a few.
From donating money to unsuspecting strangers to showing us that black women can do whatever it is they set their minds to, Drake has been on a philanthropic roll and we are here for it.
Evans is a young starlet in her own right garnering “Canada’s Prism Prize’s Lipsett Award for innovative and unique approaches to music video art” as reported by CBC.
Evans is also the first black woman to receive the award which is one of the highest accolades given in video production.
