It appears Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran are now on talking terms as the former love birds were seen exchanging words at Coachella on Saturday.
Per TMZ, Brown, 35, and Tran, 36, were photographed chatting and smiling at the popular music festival, though the pair were quite far from each other. The Autumn Leaves singer and Tran seemingly exchanging pleasantries at the event comes after the socialite and actress filed a restraining order against Brown in 2017.
Tran in her filing at the time claimed that Brown “told a few people that he was going to kill” her. She also accused the Grammy winner of punching her in the stomach twice and pushing her down the stairs.
Tran was ultimately granted a restraining order against her beau for five years, but it has since expired. Brown and Tran had a publicized breakup, and the former even had altercations with many of her boyfriends after she was granted the restraining order against him. One of those altercations involved Brown and Migos band member Quavo.
Brown has had a checkered past concerning his relationships with his former flames. In 2021, Face2Face Africa reported that the Go Crazy singer was being investigated for allegedly hitting a woman.

Los Angeles authorities at the time announced that they were investigating Brown for battery after a woman claimed the R&B singer hit her during an altercation at his home in San Fernando Valley on Friday, The Wrap reported.
Officers responded to Brown’s home after the report was made, but the Heat singer left the scene before they arrived. The unidentified woman told police Brown had hit her while they were having an argument.
TMZ also reported that the woman told officers the impact of Brown’s slap on the back of her head caused the weave she was wearing to come off. The woman reportedly did not sustain any injuries and no one has been arrested – though Brown was named as the suspect in the case.
In 2009, the Excuse Me Miss singer made national headlines after he physically assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna during an altercation. The incident reportedly left the Bajan singer with severe injuries and in need of medical attention. Brown later pleaded guilty to the assault after reaching a plea deal.
