Gender Equality
One of the points under discussion was gender equality. Led by President Kagame, Deputy Secretary-General of the UN, Amina J Mohammed, EU Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development Neven Mimica, and Mauritania’s Minister Naha Mouknass, the discussion focused on the ‘role of women as key drivers of political, social and economic development, and to deepen existing commitments in this area’.
