AARP CEO, Jo Ann Jenkins

She was appointed CEO of AARP in 2014, having previously served as president of AARP’s foundation from 2010 to 2013 and a chief operating officer from 2013 to 2014. AARP is a US-based nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that empowers people to choose how they live as they age.
As CEO of AARP, Jo Ann Jenkins harnesses the power and passion of almost 2,300 staff members, 60,000 volunteers and numerous strategic partners.
Since joining the organization, the native of Mon Louis Island, Alabama, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, has often been lauded for her ability to create business opportunity and competitive differentiation.
