Richard Hubbard III was beaten by the police at a traffic stop
The 25-year-old black man was pulled over by the police as he drove through the Cleveland suburb of Euclid, Ohio, in August. A police officer, Michael Amiott was seen in a dashcam video slamming Hubbard to the ground and repeatedly punching him and hitting his head on the pavement. The video sparked outrage among locals and activists, who questioned whether the police officer had the right to use such force against the victim.
