Kaoshi
An online platform that exchanges currencies peer-to-peer instead of through banks, eliminating bank charges and long queues. Introduced by Chukwunonso Arinze, a 25-year-old mechanical engineer and physicist from Nigeria, Kaoshi enables one to send money at their own user-defined exchange rate. Basically, if someone matches your offer, your money is sent. Unlike banks and money transfer companies that take several days, the money is sent within hours once a match is made.
