Lock yourself in the stolen car
A South Africa man was almost successful in stealing a vehicle in Pretoria. He, however, ended up trapped in the car after the auto-lock function kicked in.

He sat in the car for at least one hour before any help arrived. His attempts at getting help from passers-by were met with laughter and disbelief.
He was arrested by officers from Pretoria Central police station once the owner unlocked the door.
