Adele and Rich Paul have largely kept their relationship from the public eye. But during her recent concert in Munich, Germany, the Send My Love (To Your New Lover) singer revealed they had taken their relationship to the next level as she confirmed they are now engaged, E! News, reported.
The 36-year-old English singer confirming her engagement to the renowned sports agent was captured in a video subsequently shared on social media on August 9. In the video posted on X, Adele is heard telling a fan that it’s impossible to marry that fan because she’s “already getting married.” The singer is also seen raising her hand to show that she’s already engaged. The crowd is also heard applauding.
As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, the Rolling in the Deep singer and Paul, 43, started dating in 2021. She has a son named Angelo from her previous marriage to Simon Konecki while Paul – who is close friends with basketball superstar LeBron James – has three children from an earlier relationship.

During a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Adele opened up about their first meeting and how they eventually became romantically involved. “I met him at a birthday party, we were on the dance floor,” she told Oprah.
“And then we met a couple years later. We went out for dinner, which he says was a business meeting and I’m like ‘A business meeting about what?’ And then it was the first time we hung out on our own.”
She also touched on what she liked about the 43-year-old. “He’s just hilarious. He’s so funny,” she said. “And very smart. Very, very smart. It’s quite incredible watching him do what he does and just the easiness of it and very smooth.”
During another previous show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Adele also expressed her desire to have a baby with Paul once she’s done with all her “obligations” and “shows.” The singer also emphasized she was “desperate for a baby girl,” The Cut reported.
“Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy,” the 36-year-old said at her Weekends With Adele show. “I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world — that is what I feel will happen.”
It also appeared the 36-year-old had a fair idea of the kind of demeanor their unborn daughter would have. “She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?” she said. “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”
