Oil
Oil remains the most treasured and prestigious commodity in the world, and Africa is blessed to have plenty of it. However, the largest portion of Africa’s oil resource remains untapped due to the lack of machinery and the never-ending political and civil squabbles. Some of the top oil-producing countries in Africa include Nigeria, Algeria Angola, Libya, and Egypt. It is estimated that Nigeria produces at least 2.2 million barrels of oil every day, while Algeria produces 2.1 million barrels.
