From working as a fashion stylist to a copywriter for an advertising agency, Glow is now into creative work and activism, where she makes herself visible as a trans woman in South Africa. “A large majority of what I do is push for representation by just being myself,” she was quoted by Vogue. “In South Africa, trans representation is close to nonexistent, really, and when it does exist, the storylines can be very patronizing and stereotypical.” Glow has a YouTube channel, where she uploads videos of herself discussing issues from starting hormone replacement therapy to the process of discovering that she was trans.
