2. Pendjari National Park
Located in northwestern Benin, Pendjari National Park is popular for its extensive range of wildlife; it is home to Africa’s big game, including lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, leopards, and cheetahs.
Pendjari National Park is also popular for its diversity of rare species of birds. The park covers 2,755 square kilometers and is part of the WAP complex, a protected area extending to Burkina Faso and Niger.
