Ghana
Led by flag-bearer Flings Owusu-Agyapong and captained by John Ampomah, Team Ghana made a grand entrance into the athlete’s parade at the Rio Olympics. The female members of Team Ghana wore beautiful flowing skirts made from their beloved and iconic Kente cloth, which they matched with plain white tops. The men also wore comfortable long-sleeved shirts made out of the same Kente cloth. This year, Ghana is represented by 14 athletes competing in five different sporting events.
