Damian Marley was only 2 years old when his father kicked the bucket. Being inspired by his father’s music, he formed his own musical group at the age of 13.  One of his albums won the Best Reggae Album at the Grammy Awards in 2002.

Another popular Jamaican-American musician, Stephen Robert Nesta Marley is also a son of the reggae legend. Steve started his career at the age of 7 in the Melody Makers Band with some of his older siblings. They recorded the famous “children playing in the street’’ song which was written by their father.
