Nigerian music star, Davido, is set to collaborate with American pop star, Chris Brown, on a new song titled, Blow my mind. This project will be Chris Brown’s second collaboration with an African act – the first was with Wizkid in 2014 and 2017.

In an Instagram post of the cover of the song, Chris Brown said “Coming Soon”. This got a lot of fans excited and asking many questions.

An excited Davido responded with a flame and rocket emoji and a swear word. It is however not clear when the song will be released.  It was produced by Nigerian record producer, Shizzi.

After the announcement, fans expressed their excitement on Twitter in anticipation of the new song. Some were, however, quick to warn Davido to quit the habit of singing about money and his girlfriend, Chioma.

Chris Brown has over the years expressed and shown his love for music and dance in Africa. His features on Wizkid’s African Bad Gyal and Shabba topped charts around the world from 2014 to 2017.

The two artists created a successful relationship after Wizkid impressed the controversial Brown who performed in Nigeria during his Carpe Diem worldwide tour in 2012. In 2014. Wizkid featured Chris Brown in his second studio album, Ayo (Yoruba: Joy).
