Top tennis player Coco Gauff has been listed on SportsPro’s 50 Most Marketable list as one of the world’s most marketable tennis players.
Novak Djokovic and Naomi Osaka were also included on the list. Tennis pointed out that no tennis player attained the Top 10 list for the first time since 2017 and for the second time ever.
Djokovic and Gauff were ranked 11th and 12th, respectively, while Osaka was ranked 14th out of eight tennis players. The 19-year-old was ranked above NBA player Stephen Curry, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, and football star Travis Kelce.
Gauff won the hearts of Americans when she defeated Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka to win her first US Open title, becoming the youngest American tennis player to do it since Serena Williams achieved it at 17 years old in 1999.
According to Blavity, Gauff has secured brand deals with organizations such as New Balance, Rolex, Barilla, and Microsoft. According to Forbes, she was one of the highest-paid female athletes in 2022, with a valuation of more than $11 million.
Also on the list, NBA player Lebron James is ranked No. 2, NBA player Giannis Antetokounmpo is ranked No. 4, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton is ranked No. 7, and gymnast Simone Biles is ranked No. 8. What’s more, soccer player Kylian Mbappe is ranked No. 9, WNBA player Angel Reese is ranked No. 19, soccer player Alphonso Davies is ranked No. 20, soccer player Bukayo Saka is ranked No. 26, and soccer player Marcus Rashford is ranked No. 40.
