In an effort to continue to deliver on the company’s mission of reshaping the pan-African narrative, Face2face Africa is launching a new empowerment masterclass event series, FACETalk, to mobilize black professionals and help equip them with a vision for a legacy-shift through personal and professional development, transformational leadership, social  impact, financial wellness, and more.

FACETalk will engage today’s most iconic leaders and celebrated figures from various industries in an intimate dialogue about their personal journey to success, overcoming obstacles, and how they are shaping a new legacy for their families and communities.

“People of African descent in the U.S., particularly immigrants and their children, are at the forefront of a new  social, economic and cultural shift propelled by high educational attainment, steady population growth, entrepreneurship and business success. FACETalk was designed to spotlight the transformational leaders and trailblazers in the community, and help provide a concrete roadmap for others seeking to transform their lives both personally and professionally”, said Sandra Appiah-Boateng, CEO of Face2face Africa.

Sponsored by Prudential Financial Inc., the first edition will take place in New York City on Wednesday, October 31st, and will feature President of the Toronto Raptors, Masai Ujiri.

As the NBA’s first African born President and General Manager, Masai Ujiri has solidified many “firsts” in league history through the course of his unprecedented career. With a celebrated ascension into executive ranks, Ujiri has been recognized for employing a progressive, people-first approach, and youth-focused vision into his work within the NBA, and across the globe. Ujiri has been tireless in his efforts to create pathways for African youth on the continent, leveraging the game of basketball as a vessel for young boys and girls to think and Dream Big and establishing a significant global footprint and reputation as a successful change agent in communities around the world.

Masai Ujiri will share his remarkable journey, how he leverages business, family and money, and how he is shaping a new legacy for his family and the pan-African community through heritage preservation, community rehabilitation, wealth sustainability, and breaking ground on new structures and resources.

The discussion will be moderated by Dele Oladapo, VP & Chief Enterprise Architect and Technical Innovation Officer, Prudential Financial. There will be a networking reception following the masterclass.

Registration is by RSVP only! Space is limited. Click Here to Register. For more info, contact info@f2fafrica.com.
