Black Heritage Trail, Boston

This trail in Boston takes guests through a number of African-American sites that date back to pre Civil War  America.  Among the sites to see is the African Meeting House, which is the oldest standing black church in the U.S.; the Abiel Smith School; the 54th African Regiment, and 11 others sites.

There are interactive exhibits showcasing Boston’s black history and the American Civil Rights Movement.
