With a background in ballet dancing at the Baltimore School for the Arts, Tupac started out his career in entertainment as a backup dancer in 1990. It was among his duties as a roadie for Digital Underground.
His life as a dancer was short lived because he kept looking for moments on the mic and once he was noticed, he started doing backup rapping.
