He’s the first solo rapper to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Tupac was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, becoming the first solo rapper and the sixth hip-hop artist to earn this honour.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame stated:

The definitive hip-hop anti-hero, Tupac wrote lyrics that spark conversations about rap, race relations, and young black men in America today.
