Hearts of Oak – 1911

The football club based in Accra, Ghana, was officially formed on November 11, 1911, and is the oldest existing club in Ghana at the moment. With its rainbow colours – red, yellow, and blue – the club, affectionately nicknamed Phobia, has been very successful, especially since the formation of the Ghanaian football league in 1956, having collected the league title 19 times.
Hearts of Oak had a perfect campaign in 2000 by winning the Ghana FA Cup, the Ghana Premier League and the CAF Champions League.
