Farrah Franklin, a member of Destiny’s Child for a short period, has suggested in a recently unearthed clip that the group’s manager, who is also Beyoncé’s father, tried to make a move on her while in the group.
The uncovered clip was leaked on social media by someone who worked behind the scenes of a 2015 show which was about former members of girl groups.

In the said clip, Franklin is seen talking about a time when Beyonce’s dad, Mathew Knowles, invited her to a hotel room to “meet and speak with him.” When asked in the clip if he had tried to sleep with her, Franklin paused before suggesting he did.
“I haven’t met too many people in my life who haven’t liked me,” she replied.

At the time, Knowles was with Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, whom he married in 1980. The two would get divorced in 2011 after it emerged that Knowles had fathered a love child.

Franklin joined Destiny’s Child after members Latavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett left. After six months, she also left the group after appearing in Destiny’s Child’s videos for “Say My Name” and “Jumpin, Jumpin”.

Knowles claimed that she was kicked out from the group for missing too many performances but Franklin retorted, saying she left because she felt mistreated by Knowles when she fell ill.
