Four African countries leading the way in renewable energy

Morocco

Morocco‘s Ouarzazate Solar Power Station is the world’s biggest concentrated power plant. The station is going to be responsible for about 582 MW of power at peak levels.

The project is a result of shrewd opportunism. Morocco endures about 330 days of sunshine every year.

Ouarzazate comes at a cost of about $9 billion.
