Morocco‘s Ouarzazate Solar Power Station is the world’s biggest concentrated power plant. The station is going to be responsible for about 582 MW of power at peak levels.

The project is a result of shrewd opportunism. Morocco endures about 330 days of sunshine every year.

Ouarzazate comes at a cost of about $9 billion.
