WASHINGTON DC– On Saturday March 7, the Ghana for Ghana (GH4GH) organization will host the Golden Gala 2015 in honor of Ghana’s 58th Independence Day. This event will take place at the Sunset Room located at the National Harbor in Washington, DC from 6pm-11pm.
This black tie or traditional event is part of a larger effort to promote the innovation, success, leadership and service that represents Ghana and it’s diaspora. Throughout the course of the evening we will honor special guests for their outstanding achievement in Education, Health, Entertainment, Business, Politics, and Sports. The evening will be hosted by a special celebrity guest and continue with live music, a fashion show to highlight modern Ghanaian style and an open bar and appetizers for attendees.
The GH4GH Organization is a social platform designed to engage and bring together Africans in the Diaspora with a special focus on the Ghanaian community. Through networking and social engagements, we have made it our mission to connect Ghanaian professionals and visionaries within an environment that promotes success and highlights mediums for collaboration. Our vision is to strengthen the ties between the Diaspora and Ghana, bridge the cap between young Ghanaians and mature populations and build a solid network of positive minds and ideologies to implement change in business, thought and social perspectives within Africa and abroad.
