The Upe (African Flute)
The Upe flute is a medium of traditional communication that produces sounds exactly like the aeroplane. This form of communication was used mainly for metaphysical purposes especially for those in the spirit world. It was also used by the people in some parts of Nigeria to assemble the crowd at the eve of the Ogun Festival and during the ethnic war.
