Rwanda president Paul Kagame joining Kigali residents for car-free day

On Sunday, June 17, Rwandan president Paul Kagame joined Kigali residents for their bi-monthly car-free day. The highly successful health event saw hundreds of Kigali residents joining their beloved president to burn some calories.

As the name suggests, the car-free day is set aside to encourage Rwandan citizens to walk and exercise. Main roads in Kigali are usually closed temporarily for residents to walk, jog and ride bicycles.

Enjoy some photos the president shared on all of his social media pages.
