American rapper Kanye West revealed his net worth on Instagram in the early hours of Friday, stating it stands at $2.77 billion.
The 47-year-old credited his music portfolio and sole ownership of the Yeezy brand for his new valuation, confirmed in a message from Eton Venture Services.
“In 2025, Ye’s net worth stands at $2.77 billion USD as confirmed by Eton Venture Services,” the post read. “The valuation is based on his music portfolio and his sole ownership of the Yeezy mark.”
Ye went on to accompany the announcement with the caption, “LAA LA LA LA,” and it seemed as though he was addressing critics who often took a jab at his finances.
This is a huge turnaround for Ye. Kanye unexpectedly lost his billionaire status in 2022 after Adidas and other brands severed ties following his anti-Semitic comments and the controversy over his promotion of “White Lives Matter” T-shirts at Paris Fashion Week.
The Adidas fallout alone cost him $2 billion in a single day, and he claimed at the time that he was “two months away” from bankruptcy.
Kanye West admitted to TMZ that he invested heavily in a $7 million Super Bowl advertisement for Yeezy and his album Vultures, which has since topped the charts in 100 countries.

“I was two months from going bankrupt,” Ye said. “I put everything I had into [the album and the ad].”
Ye stated that his wealth recovery began after he relocated to Italy with his wife, Bianca Censori.
“We moved to the factories, and we survived the cancellation. We’re back number one,” he said, adding that the Super Bowl ad alone generated $19.3 million in revenue.
Asked about the controversies surrounding him, West said, “It wasn’t about the controversy. It was about being able to say how you felt out loud. If I didn’t have the various skill sets of music and clothing and the fanbase, they would’ve destroyed me.”
Kanye West’s social media activity also highlighted his bond with his daughter North, 11, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
He posted videos of North experimenting with a sampling keyboard and further called her his inspiration. “This little girl made me love music again,” he captioned one post.
According to reports, Ye is working on his 11th studio album, BULLY, and has been involving North in the creative process.
