Also known as the “factory of stone tools,” Olorgesailie is the only pre-historic site in the world that has the largest number of stone tools created by the first man. It is located along Magadi Road, approximately 70 kilometers from Nairobi. The fossils found at this site are a true representation of the origin of the human species. At present, the site is used as a biological and cultural learning site.
