Lil Nas X was reportedly seen roaming the streets of Los Angeles Thursday morning, wearing only white underwear and boots. The 26-year-old rapper was seen around Ventura Boulevard around 4 a.m. local time, per a video obtained by TMZ.

He told a concerned fan that he was on his way to a party and went on to put an orange traffic cone on his head, as seen in the video.

Not too long after, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived at the scene after they were called by people around. The “Industry Baby” rapper reportedly charged at the officers but they overpowered him and sent him to a hospital.

The police now believe he may have experienced a possible overdose and are waiting for him to get better before any official charge.

The rapper, born Montero Lamar Hill, shared in 2021 that he took psychedelic mushrooms while putting together his album “Montero.”

He also self-medicated by “smoking [weed] heavily” following the death of his grandmother, he told Variety in 2020.

Before Thursday’s disturbing incident, Lil Nas X shared a video via his Instagram Story in which he was seen riding shotgun in a car and dancing, with Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” playing over the video, Page Six reported.
