Robert Mugabe loved cricket, exercising and attaining education for fun.
In this list, Mugabe’s hobbies seem like the least stereotypical of a dictator. He referred to cricket as a “sport of gentlemen” and boasted about how he had stayed very old and fit just by exercising vigorously in the morning.
He also attained university degrees, presumably for show. He had as many as seven degrees in administration, history, education as well as law, and those were apart from his honorary degrees.
