A man who showed up at Rihanna’s Los Angeles home to ask for the singer’s hand in marriage was briefly handcuffed by police after they were called to the scene. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources said the unidentified man showed up at the Barbadian singer’s home on Thursday after traveling from South Carolina.

Rihanna’s team ended up calling the police after the man claimed he had come to her home to propose. Officers who responded to the scene placed the man in handcuffs and put him in a car to have a conversation with him, sources added.

However, he was ultimately released by the officers, who cautioned and asked him to leave and not return after they concluded he had done nothing illegal. This is not the first time the billionaire singer and businesswoman’s home has been targeted. In 2018, authorities arrested Eduardo Leon after he was found inside the singer’s home.

Leon is said to have spent at least a day in the home. Rihanna was fortunately not around at the time. Leon, after he was spotted, allegedly told officers he had showed up at the singer’s home to have sex with her.

The 35-year-old entertainer is currently expecting her second child with rapper, ASAP Rocky.
