Mary J. Blige has become the latest U.S. star to enter the wine business, following the likes of Jay-Z, Angelina Jolie, Francis Ford Coppola, Brad Pitt, and Lady Gaga.

The Queen of hip hop soul has teamed up with major Italian wine producer Fantinel Winery to bring a new line of wines that are just perfect for the summer. The singer’s new wine collection is called Sun Goddess Wines and will feature her favorites: Italian Pinot Grigio Ramato (a rosé) and Italian Sauvignon Blanc.

“The pink-hued rosé is full-bodied with notes of peach, melon, and blackberry with a crisp finish, while the Sauvignon Blanc is smooth and strongly aromatic,” she tells People.

Sun Goddess is a “collection of bold, crisp, and rich wines that embody warmth, passion, energy, and a deeper connection to nature.”

The name Sun Goddess goes back to Blige’s own “childhood memories with her mother and an endless love for the warmth and energy of the sun,” says Fantinel Winery.

“After walking through the vineyards and tasting with the Fantinel family, I felt extremely connected to the place, and more importantly, the people,” the 49-year-old Grammy-winning singer says. “In that moment, I felt the same magical energy I have long tried to capture from the sun and knew this was an incredible opportunity to partner with someone who shared that passion and together we could try to create something that evoked that feeling.”
