This weekend is also an indicator that spring is in full effect and summer is fast approaching! I shared with you last week that the weather has finally warmed up in New York City – I lied! I received a few beauty notes from you asking what are some of my lip choices for spring. I had to think about it. Have I really bought in to the idea that spring is here and that I should be using bright colors that POP! The answer is no! I have to admit, despite the season, the temperature outside tends to dictate my lip mood.

For those of you who are asking what is matte lipstick; matte lipsticks have no shine or shimmer. They typically have better staying power than other types of lipsticks, but can be dry.
Which is what I love about Glo Mineral’s matte, because it glides on creamy but offers a matte finish.
Both the Suede Matte Crayon and the Suede Matte Stick come in six shades, which makes it hard to pick just one! Being a woman of color, I love when I can be versatile on my lips.
