A missing man was found dead in his submerged vehicle after his mom advised that her son’s car be tracked by GPS.
On January 24, 21-year-old Isaiah Lowe was reported missing after he was last spotted driving in a black Chevrolet Camaro with red stripes in California two days earlier.
Lowe’s mother, Natalie Wallace, told police on Monday that she once tracked her son’s car using a GPS device.
Police decided to act on Wallace’s thoughts and found out that Lowe’s vehicle was pinged to a location alongside a highway where cops discovered a damaged fence, as per the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators then found debris from what looked like Lowe’s car littering the shoulder of the highway along the fence.
Rescue volunteers were immediately called to the scene to begin searching a nearby river in Bonsall, which is close to 50 miles south of San Diego.
Police and volunteers probed the San Luis Rey River and found Lowe’s Camaro.
Due to recent rains, the car had been buried deep, according to authorities.
The search continued until almost midnight but rescue efforts had to be called off until the next day.
Lowe’s vehicle was found by police on Tuesday, but it came with a horrifying discovery of the 21-year-old’s body inside his car.
The Medical Examiner’s Office was notified and it began to look into what could be the cause of death.
According to reports, the case is currently pending, and it is unclear when Lowe’s vehicle submerged in the river or how long his body was beneath the water..
Lowe was last seen alive on surveillance camera footage in his car as it appeared he was performing work duties on the night shift before his disappearance.
On February 1, Lowe’s mom took to social media on Facebook to share that they hadn’t seen or heard from their son and asked the public to continue to repost and spread the missing person poster, as some feared he might have been dead.
They said it was uncharacteristic for him to not respond and were concerned for his well-being.
His family shared a video on social media discussing their frustrations with the investigation two weeks after his disappearance and asked the community for help.
On Wednesday, Lowe’s mom broke the devastating news to the public, stating that her son had been found dead.

‘Facebook family, I do not know what to say, but THANK YOU all for searching, praying and looking for my baby Isaiah Lowe. He has been found but not the way we wanted to find him. Please keep myself and our family in your prayers,’ she wrote.
A GoFundMe was set up in support of the family after Lowe’s death.
‘With heavy hearts, we share the devastating loss of Isaiah, who passed away unexpectedly,’ the description read.
‘He was a bright light in the lives of so many—full of love, laughter, and a spirit that touched everyone who knew him.’
