Hola, Beauties! Let’s talk about this new trend for nails: tattoos! Yes! There’s nothing trendier, nailistas, at the moment. I recently had the pleasure of getting my nails tattooed while sipping on champagne at a Ricky’s NYC Nail Tat’z party.

I have to admit when I first sat down I was a little bit leery, considering the fact that I don’t have any tattoos on my body. So I wasn’t sure if there would be any pain or ointments needed.
Some of you may be laughing at me, but hey, I just met two individuals where one woman got her eyebrows tattooed and the other woman had permanent eyeliner tattooed (another topic to explore).
I ended up having a cool experience, and I’m sure it had a lot to do with my nail technician, Rose Velez-Miggins, from doorBella (pictured below).
She took the time to explain the process and made me feel comfy.
Tat’z Nail’z is the nail machine that was used to create my nail tattoos, and it works like an ink jet printer.
Tat’z Nail’z works on either natural, gel, or acrylic nails, and the machine also can print two full sets of artificial nails at a time.
While my nails were being tattooed, the most I felt was the wind from the machine as the printer went across my nails.
In addition to being given instructions on how to make my nail tattoos last longer, I loved how they turned out!
I would definitely recommend trying nail tattoos out for yourself!
Quick Tip: Do you remember the tip I shared with you on how to freshen up your nails in between manicures?
Try adding a clear top coat to have an instant fresh manicure.
I love the fact that nails have become a part of our fashion and beauty statements.
And there you have it, ladies! The long and short of my tattooed nails experience.
Now tell me, would you ever try it? Have you? Dying to know your thoughts….
