The team was congratulated by Nigerians when they landed.

According to Air Peace communication, the move shows its commitment to gender equality and promotion of Nigerian women in aviation.

In 2017, Air Zimbabwe made a historic trip when a flight crew solely powered by women flew from the capital, Harare to Victoria Falls. Days later, Ethiopian Airlines flew the first-ever all-female crewed flight from Addis Ababa to Thailand.

Here are some congratulatory messages to Air Peace airline on the historic moment.
