Poem: At the End of the Noose

by Victhur Ihuka, 11:47am March 10, 2015,
Nooses

Nooses

At the end of the noose
Where all hope flees and despair abounds
Dark clouds hover and the sun sets at dawn

At the end of the noose
When joy evades and serenity assails
Darkness sieges and chaos flourishes

At the end of the noose
A tiny spark of hope ignites
Redemption is hatched back to life

At the end of the noose
Doddering abstractions are made anew
At the end of the noose
