Poem: Who Are You?

African Identity

This poem is dedicated to Claude M’Barali (better known as MC Solaar), he was born in Dakar, Senegal, to parents from Chad. When he was 6 months old, due to the political troubles in Senegal, his parents emigrated to France where they settled in Parisian suburbs.

At the corner of Legal Rights and Conditions and Terms is this axis.
Kwaku or William over Jacques or even Alexis?
How are you feeling right now and do you want to get to know us?

It won’t subtract your life
Our Knowledge will be an addition to your life
And a gift that keeps on multiplying

Definitely a plus.

To be or be Too?

This question raises one issue: an identity crisis.

We have forgotten our integrity and now have to deal with Isis.
Lost because of our Lust, rooted in the love of money that is
The People We [All] were given a second chance, our Metamorphosis.
That is the Renewing of our Minds and Souls and Spirits;

Love as the lust of the flesh ought to die
Change ought not to cease.

When will my people finally realize that their mind-sets will dictate their future?
