Whitney Houston…Grammy

Whitney Houston

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born on August 9, 1963, in Newark, New Jersey.

Houston was a successful singer, model, actress and producer who was lauded as “the voice.” Houston won countless music awards and appeared in several critically-acclaimed films.

For years, Houston denied abusing drugs, however, on February 11, 2012, she was found unconscious in her hotel room bathtub in Beverly Hills, California.

An autopsy performed on the star stated that heart disease and use of cocaine were contributing elements of her death.
