Many of us are stuck indoors amid the coronavirus, including singer John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen but that didn’t stop the two from giving their daughter Luna one of the best birthdays right from home.
Even though they couldn’t have a big party with all her family and friends, their amazing birthday wishes on social media and the small family celebration they had while in quarantine surely made their daughter feel like a princess.
“Happy 4th birthday to our beautiful Luna!” the All Of Me singer, 41, captioned a slideshow of Instagram photos on Tuesday, April 14. “I’m so happy I get to be your father, teacher, friend.”

In another shot of Luna in a Princess Belle gown, Legend wrote: “Luna’s living her best birthday life. Mommy decorated. No preschool friends were able to come, but they sent video messages and she was thrilled. Good memories for her during this strange time.”

As shown in Teigen’s Instagram Story Tuesday morning, little Luna’s special day began with her “first breakfast in bed,” which included blueberries, a waffle, raspberries and fruit juice in a champagne glass.
34-year-old model Teigen, who also shares a son with Legend, posted a picture of Luna wearing a bathing suit and a crown. “Happy 4th birthday to the queen of our household,” the Utah native wrote. “I could have never prayed for a better little being.”

After the family sang “Happy Birthday” to Luna, Teigen shared on her Instagram Story pictures of three different birthday cakes from family and friends, including one that had nail polish designs on it.
Teigen and Legend welcomed their daughter, Luna, in April 2016. “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you!” Teigen wrote on Instagram at the time. “And sleepy. Very sleepy.”
Legend tweeted, “Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!”
