Fally Ipupa
A well-known musician both within and outside Africa, Fally Ipupa came into the limelight while he was a member of Koffi Olomidé’s Quartier Latin International soukous band. The Kinshasa-born musician later parted ways with the band to pursue a very successful solo career.
Ipupa has collaborated with several international acts and also won a host of accolades including a Kora Award in 2007 as well as an MTV Africa Music Award in 2010.
