The ‘falling’ singer was the 2017 recipient of the 2017 Amnesty International’s Ambassador of Conscience Award. Keys has founded the  Keep a Child Alive to help families affected by HIV in Africa and India and We are Here Movement to give ‘millennials an exciting way to change the world.’

She shared the award with the inspirational movement of Indigenous Peoples fighting for their rights in Canada.
