Michael Blackson, Ghana
Born in 1972 in Ghana, Blackson later moved to the United States where his career in comedy began. His inspiration to join comedy came from legendary American comedian Eddie Murphy. In 1992, he started acting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and became famous for his unique onscreen performance as an “Angry African Man.” Blackson has featured in numerous top-ranking shows such as “Comic View,” “Def Comedy Jam,” “Showtime at Harlem,” and “Live in Hollywood.”
