Michael Blackson, Ghana
Michael Blackson was born in 1972 in Ghana, but later moved to the United States where his career in comedy began. He says his inspiration to join comedy came from legendary American comedian Eddie Murphy. Blackson began acting in 1992 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is popular for his unique onscreen performance as an “Angry African Man.” Blackson has featured in numerous top-ranking shows such as “Comic View,” “Def Comedy Jam,” “Showtime at Harlem,” and “Live in Hollywood.”
