Founded in 1991, Doual’art is a non-profit cultural organization and art center located in Douala, the largest city in Cameroon. It focuses on modern forms of art and uses cultural and artistic programs as tools for consolidating freedom of expression and social cohesion. By creating site-specific urban interventions, Doual’art serves as an intermediary between social and economic actors.
