Lisa Folawiyo is the founder and creative director of Jewel by Lisa – one of the largest fashion labels in Nigeria. A graduate of law from the University of Nigeria, Lisa ventured into the fashion industry after she gave birth to her daughter in 2005. At the time, she didn’t have any formal training. But with passion, she has grown to become one of the best African fashion designers. She focuses on local Ankara fabrics, which are now a global phenomenon.
