Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children on Tuesday released a statement expressing support for their father as he battles his humongous legal issues. As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, Combs, 54, was arrested by federal agents on September 16 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Combs, who entered a not-guilty plea, is being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial date has been set for May 5, 2025. But the Bad Boy Records founder is additionally facing multiple sexual assault lawsuits.

The joint statement was posted on the Instagram page of Combs’ eldest child, Quincy. “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media,” Quincy, 33, wrote alongside a photo of the entire family.

“We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”

Combs shares his son Christian and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila with deceased model Kim Porter. He also has a son, Justin, with stylist Misa Hylton and shares his daughter Chance with Sarah Chapman. His seventh child, Love, was born in 2022. He shares her with model Dana Tran. Quincy, whose mother is Porter, is Combs’ adopted child.

The embattled music executive’s legal woes were exacerbated after CNN  shared a video of him assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. The rapper and music executive had initially denied allegations of rape and abuse from Cassie. But he later issued an apology on social media after the circulation of the video.

In September, Combs and Porter’s children similarly released a statement to deny claims that their mother wrote a memoir before she died in 2018. Combs and Porter’s children responded to the claim after it was reported that Porter had saved a memoir on a hard drive before she passed away, the Daily Mail reported.

The memoir, titled KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side, was released by record producer Chris Todd on September 6. The memoir in question detailed instances where the model and actress was abused by Combs. But her children in their statement on Instagram said she never wrote that memoir.

Amazon in October announced the memoir was no longer “available for sale” in their store after the deceased model’s children debunked its authenticity, Face2Face Africa reported.
