American singer and songwriter Stevie Wonder will embark on a U.S. tour leading up to the presidential election.
As Americans prepare to vote for their preferred candidate, Wonder has announced his 10-date tour, titled “Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart,” which shares the name of his recent politically themed single.
The tour kicks off on October 8 and concludes on October 30, 2024, just days before the election.
According to the announcement, the tour serves as a call for “joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war.” Additionally, as a special gesture, the 25-time Grammy winner will offer a select number of complimentary tickets to individuals “working tirelessly to fix our nation’s broken heart.”

Produced by Wonder Productions and promoted by AEG Presents in partnership with Free Lunch, the tour will begin at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with stops in New York City, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Greensboro, Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis, before wrapping up at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Following his powerful appearance at the Democratic National Convention last month, Wonder addressed the crowd, saying, “I know the importance of action. Now is the moment to understand where we are and what it will take to win: win the broken hearts, win the disenchanted, win the angry spirits — now is the time.”
“This is the moment to remember when you tell your children where you were and what you did. We must choose courage over complacency. It is time to get up,” he urged, “and go vote!” He then performed his 1973 classic “Higher Ground.”
