White supremacy is still prevalent in these parts of Africa

Niger

Beginning as the Tuareg and Fulani capturing darker skinned Africans and having them serve as slaves, slavery has been rampant in Niger for centuries.

Though outlawed in 2003, it is reported that over 800,000 individuals in Niger are still enslaved.

Racism, discrimination, slavery and apartheid although not overt in some cases, continue to affect an enormous amount of individuals throughout the world.
